This Cucumber Melon Smoothie isn’t your average green smoothie! Honeydew, grapes, apple, cucumber, banana, and romaine lettuce make for a refreshing treat!
Smoothie recipes are one of my favorites to come up with. My Creamy Avocado Kale Smoothie is one of my most popular on the site, and I can’t wait to make my Pumpkin Apple Smoothie Bowl for the warm transition into fall. My problem with most smoothies is that they tend to get boring if you make the same one all the time. For our house, It’s usually frozen berries, almond milk, yogurt, and usually protein and green powder. It’s simple, nutritious, and pretty basic. This Cucumber Melon Smoothie, however, is far from basic.
As a 90’s kid, Cucumber Melon is near and dear to my heart. I mean, anyone who was anyone had a Bath and Body Works cucumber melon lotion and hand sanitizer in their Lisa Frank backpack. While this smoothie doesn’t really smell like that lotion, I still like to think that I’m paying homage to my middle school days in a healthy and grown-up way.
What’s your go-to smoothie recipe? I love switching up the ingredients based on the season, so I would love some delicious autumn ideas!
