1 can of orange, mandarin, or tangerine flavored sparkling water
mint sprigs and mandarin wedges, to serve
Instructions
For Mandarin Mint Simple Syrup
Combine all of the ingredients in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to a simmer and let the mint and mandarin rind steep until the sugar is dissolved. Turn off and set aside to cool.
For the Spritzer
Fill a rocks glass with crushed ice. Add sparkling water till the glass is ⅔ full. Sweeten to taste with a couple of tbsps of the mandarin mint simple syrup, and garnish with mint and mandarin wedges. Serve cold.
Notes
You will likely have leftover simple syrup. You can keep it in a jar in the fridge for up to a week.
