1 12-count package Hawaiian sweet rolls, sliced in half (see directions for more details)
½ pound cooked deli ham, thinly sliced
24 pickle slices
½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
1 tablespoon dijon mustard
2 teaspoons dried minced onion
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
In a bowl mix together the garlic, mayonnaise, pickle brine, mustard, hot sauce, ¼ teaspoon of salt and ¼ teaspoon pepper. Stir in the red pimentos and cheese. Cover and refrigerate until ready for use.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 9×13-inch pan with aluminum foil, spray with cooking spray. Set aside.
Using a serrated bread knife, slice the rolls in half. Place the bottoms of the rolls in the prepared pan.
Evenly spread the pimento cheese over the bottom rolls. Evenly layer ham on top of that and evenly place pickle slices on top of that. Add the top rolls and set aside.
Melt butter on the stovetop or microwave. Add the mustard, onion, Worcestershire sauce, ¼ teaspoon of salt, and ¼ teaspoon of pepper, and whisk to combine.
Slowly and evenly pour the butter mixture over the rolls. Use a spatula to spread the mixture over the tops.
Cover with aluminum foil and bake for about 20 minutes.
Uncover and cook for about 3 to 5 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown. Serve immediately while hot.
