Personal Sausage and Olive Pizzas with Carnivor Cabernet Sauvignon

Pizza and wine night will never be the same thanks to these Personal Sausage and Olive Pizzas with Carnivor Cabernet Sauvignon!

This post has been sponsored by Carnivor. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

If there’s one dish that we absolutely have to have every week, it’s pizza. Whether it’s a simple Margherita or these super easy Personal Sausage and Olive Pizzas, we can’t go a week without either ordering in or making them ourselves.

No matter how we choose to get our pizza fix, we always have wine on hand. We’ve been drinking the Carnivor Cabernet Sauvignon for years and it pairs perfectly with these personal pizzas. I discovered this particular recipe on simpli5meals.com, and they have a ton of other simple weeknight meals that you can pair with your favorite wines. The salty bite of the olives and the anise flavor of the sausage goes amazingly with the hints of blackberry, caramel, roasted coffee and toasted oak in the Carnivor Cabernet Sauvignon. It’s a smooth, yet full-bodied wine that lends itself well to this Italian classic.

If you find the idea of making pizza at home cumbersome, you clearly haven’t tried a recipe this easy. The hardest part of homemade pizza making is the dough, which you don’t have to worry about here. All you have to do is pick up a couple of individual flatbreads, smear with marinara, top with mozzarella cheese, olives, and browned Italian sausage, and your date-night-in will seem like it took way more effort. Not to mention, all the guesswork has been taken out of the wine pairing as well. You’re welcome.

Don’t forget, For this recipe and others like it, visit simpli5meals.com. I think I’m going to try the Baked Chili Cheese Dogs and Pinot Noir for my next tailgate!

Check out other wine pairings with Alamos Malbec, Ecco Domani Pinot Grigio, Mirassou

Pinot Noir, Carnivor Cabernet Sauvignon, Starborough Sauvignon Blanc on simpli5meals.com.
