Did you guys know that I’m obsessed with my dog? Like, he’s my best friend and we have a connection like I have with no human. Unfortunately, he loves my husband way more than he loves me, but I don’t let that deter my undying adoration. In my opinion, dogs are our family and they deserve to be treated as such, with treats made with the same quality of ingredients and care that you want with your food. That’s why I love making him homemade snacks, like these Pumpkin Chicken Jerky Pupsicles that incorporate his favorite treats.
Lucca is a three-year-old Weimaraner who we got after tragically losing our first pup. He was the fattest and loudest of the bunch and we loved his sweet personality. To this day, he is a very vocal dog that loves snuggles more than life itself. Like most dogs, Lucca is a treat FANATIC. He knows the difference between his treat bag and other bags, and his eyes light up when he hears that rustling. By FAR, his favorite treats are Milo’s Kitchen home-style dog treats. He is a huge meat-lover, so he’ll always choose a treat with 100% real chicken, beef, duck or sweet potato as the #1 ingredient over one with a ton of fillers and no flavor. We know that we can feel great about giving him Milo’s Kitchen home-style dog treats because they’re made here in the USA and are totally free of artificial flavors or colors. I recently picked up his two favorites, the Milo’s Kitchen Chicken Jerky Strips, and the Chicken Meatballs at Meijer, and got a sweet deal for using my mPerks Card! Now, through 10/7, you can get 30% off Milo’s Kitchen home-style dog treats (while supplies last) through mPerks, so be sure to check it out while you’re in Meijer! I’ve had the chance to get a behind the scenes look at Meijer and I love everyone at the company.
It may look like sweet Lucca has extreme restraint, but the second I gave him the go-ahead he gobbled up his pupsicle like it was going to explode if he didn’t. I love knowing that even though it only took me 5 minutes to throw these together, he is getting a mouthwatering treat that’s inspired by the snacks we make in our own kitchens, but made just for him, with the help of Milo’s Kitchen home-style dog treats!
