The Perfect Peach Daiquiris

With the weekend coming up, you can never have too many cocktail recipes in your arsenal. These Perfect Peach Daiquiris will be the hit of your party!

When I go for a cocktail in the summer, it’s usually some kind of spritz or seltzer. Truth be told, I rarely reach for the rum on my bar cart, with the exception of when the craving strike for The Perfect Peach Daiquiris.

Of course, strawberry daiquiris are the OG and what most people go for. And for good reason! I have to say though, there’s something about the peach and honey that are so perfect for this drink.

So, let’s celebrate summer with a daiquiri! This one has only 4 ingredients + ice and it’s absolutely delicious. I used juicy fresh peaches, honey, white rum, and lime juice. It’s lightly sweet, perfectly peachy, and has just the right amount of rum. Seriously, you have to make it for Labor Day weekend!

The Perfect Peach Daiquiris Ingredients and Subs

fresh peaches — You can use frozen peaches as well! I love the flavor and red specks from keeping the skins on the peaches, but frozen works just fine in a pinch. Maybe reduce the ice by 1/2 cup? You can also use a 16-oz can of peaches in a pinch.

How to make The Perfect Peach Daiquiris

Blend all ingredients in a high-powered blender until all ingredients are well-combined. Serve in glasses and garnish with whipped cream and a slice of peach and lime, if desired.

What’s the difference between light and dark rum?

All rum starts out exactly the same. The difference is in the aging process. Like bourbon and other dark spirits, dark rum is aged in charred oak or wooden barrels, giving them a darker color and a bolder flavor.

White rum is aged in stainless steel barrels and requires a shorter amount of time to age than the time taken by dark rum. It may also be filtered and bottled right after being distilled.

Typically, darker rums are used for sipping or drinking straight because of the more distinctive flavors, while light rums are used in cocktails.

Half a cup of honey? That seems like a lot. Is that correct?

Paige

Hi Shelly, that is correct! You can also use 1/4 cup granulated sugar in place or if your peaches seem nice and sweet you can start off with less, taste, and you can always add more if you like!

I’d love to make these but I don’t have fresh but canned peaches. How many ounces of canned peaches would you recommend? Thank you!

Hi Kristi! Thanks for checking out the recipe. You won't be disappointed! 1 16oz can should do the trick.

I have a question. Do you take the skin off the peaches? And also happy birthday

Hi Keith! Thank you! I do leave the skin on the peaches but you can also peel them. Whatever works for you!
