One Year Blogiversary Giveaway!

Today, I bring you the most exciting post I have done in my one year of blogging.  Yes, I said ONE YEAR!  April marks the first full year that I have been blogging on My Modern Cookery.  When I started on this journey, I had no idea what it would turn into.  The only thing I was looking to do was to share some of my recipe ideas with friends and family.  Here we are a year later and I have accomplished more than I ever set out to.  I am beyond excited for what the future holds and I can’t wait to see what the next year has in store.  I have a feeling that great things lie ahead.  Thank you to all that follow me on Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook, or Tumblr.  Thank you to everyone who comments on posts, or tags me in the photos of recipes you have made (my absolute favorite).  I love nothing more than hearing that someone replicated a recipe and loved it.  This is my passion and I am so thankful that I took the plunge, faced my fears, and put myself out there.  If I could give anyone a piece of advice it would be to never stop chasing your dreams.  I know that is pretty cheesy and unoriginal, but so true and so necessary.  Don’t ever think that you can’t do something just because someone else tells you that you can’t, or because it’s something that they don’t understand.  Do what you love.  Always.  I want to talk for a second about the generosity of the Louisville, Ky community.  When I first decided to have a giveaway, I thought that I would maybe purchase a gift card, just to get my feet wet.  However, when I made mention of doing a giveaway, the local companies that participated we’re MORE than generous in their contributions.  I couldn’t be more proud to live in such a tight knit and loving community.  Please take some time to visit each of their websites I’ll have listed below and show them some love!  Thanks again for everything, I can’t wait to continue making recipes for you all!
