Hello there! Today, I’m sharing with you this ultra chocolatey and filling Banana Cacao Oat Smoothie that’s perfect for any time of the day!
Fun fact: Matt and I drink a smoothie almost every single day. I’ve always been a smoothie person, but especially since I’ve been pregnant (17 weeks now!), I’ve been diligent about my smoothie consumption.
To be honest, my daily smoothies usually aren’t that great. They’re more so just to make sure my body is pumped full of nutrients. I usually use a green powder, frozen berries, banana, almond milk, flax oil, hemp protein powder, and greek yogurt.
It’s ok – not great, but good for me and baby. THIS smoothie, however, is pure heaven. It’s chocolatey with a hint of cinnamon, sweet and creamy from the banana, and super filling thanks to the oats.
Seriously, I drank one of these hours ago and I’m still stuffed. This would be perfect for a quick all-in-one breakfast that you can make and take on your way to work. This would have been a lifesaver when I was working in an office!

- 1 cup vanilla almond milk
- ½ cup Greek yogurt
- 1 packet cinnamon spice instant oatmeal (or ¼ cup oats with ¼ tsp ground cinnamon)
- 1 frozen banana (or a ripe fresh banana with a handful of ice)
- 3 tbsp cacao powder
- Combine all ingredients in a high-powered blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
